Chaston grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, with his parents and two sisters. His parents encouraged hard work and discipline from a young age. His mother was a Registered Nurse, and his father a Contractor. His parents were an extraordinary inspiration for him as a real estate broker, teaching him to stay positive, focused, and loyal. He always participated in team sports; Football, basketball, and volleyball; where he learned that he could accomplish the impossible by working with his team at a prestige level. Chaston attended the University of Hawaii and studied business at the Shidler College of business; he took his studies for Business Administration, Finance, and Marketing to the University of Southern Maine and moved to Maine for four years with his Fiancé, Kalei.
